How much do braces cost in Turkey?
Fixed metal braces start at £900 for a full course covering both arches, ceramic braces at £1,200, and clear aligners at £1,500. UK private orthodontics typically runs £2,500–£5,000. Retainers are £120 per arch and are not optional.

Can I have orthodontic treatment if I live abroad?
Clear aligners, yes — two visits with remote monitoring in between. Fixed braces, realistically no: they need adjustment every four to eight weeks in person for a year or more. We will tell you this before you book rather than after.

How long does treatment take?
Six to twenty-four months depending on how much movement is needed. Mild crowding at the front can be finished in six to nine months; a full alignment case takes eighteen months or more.

Are clear aligners as effective as braces?
For mild to moderate crowding, spacing and rotation, yes. For significant bite correction or skeletal problems, fixed appliances and a specialist orthodontist remain the better answer, and we will refer rather than compromise the result.

Do I have to wear a retainer forever?
Yes, in practice. Teeth have a memory and will drift back without retention. That usually means a fixed wire behind the front teeth, a night-time removable retainer, or both. Anyone telling you otherwise is setting you up for a relapse.

Can I have veneers instead of braces?
Sometimes, for mild crowding — but it means removing healthy enamel from teeth that did not need it. For anything more than very mild misalignment, aligning first and then whitening is the better outcome and often the cheaper one.

Does it hurt?
Pressure and tenderness for two to three days after braces are fitted or when a new aligner is started. It is soreness rather than pain, and ordinary painkillers handle it.

What happens if an aligner is lost or a bracket breaks while I am at home?
Message us on WhatsApp the same day. A lost aligner is usually managed by going back to the previous one or forward to the next, which we will tell you. A broken bracket needs a local dentist, and we will write to them for you.

Prices are for a full course, not per visit. The honest complication is that orthodontics needs adjustment appointments every four to eight weeks for one to two years — which is straightforward if you live in Antalya and awkward if you live in Leeds. Read the section below before you book anything.

Your full set of aligners is made and shipped to you, or held for collection on your next visit.

At home
You change aligners on schedule and send us progress photographs every few weeks. No flight needed for a routine check.
Final visit · 2–3 days
Refinement and retainers
Any final adjustments, then retainers fitted. Retention is for life, not for six months — this is the part most patients are not told.

Airport transfer
We collect you from Antalya Airport in our own clinic vehicle and take you back at the end. No third-party shuttle, no extra charge.
All imaging
Panoramic X-ray and, where the plan needs it, CBCT 3D imaging. Taken in the clinic, included in the treatment price.
Medication
Anaesthetic, antibiotics and any post-operative medication you need during your stay.
Follow-up checks
Every review appointment during your visit, and remote follow-up by WhatsApp once you are home.
Hotel — arranged separately
Health tourism rules in Türkiye changed, and clinics can no longer book accommodation for patients. We refer you to partner hotels near the clinic that hold agreed rates for our patients, and you book directly with them.
Flights
Not included. We plan your appointment dates around the flights that suit you, rather than the other way round.

What We Guarantee, in Writing
Our Written Guarantee
The implant itself carries a lifetime guarantee. Zirconia crowns and bridges, E-max crowns, porcelain veneers and Hollywood smile restorations carry a five-year guarantee against fracture and debonding under normal use; a fractured unit is remade at no cost for the restoration. You receive the guarantee in writing with your treatment documents. Travel and accommodation for a return visit are not included, and if you grind your teeth, wearing the night guard we provide is a condition of the guarantee.

Why We Will Sometimes Tell You to Have This at Home
Worth knowing before you book
- Fixed braces and dental tourism are a poor fit. Metal braces need in-person adjustment every four to eight weeks for a year or more. If you live in the UK, either you fly repeatedly or a UK orthodontist inherits a case they did not plan. Neither is good for you.
- Clear aligners are the realistic option for an international patient. Two visits and remote monitoring in between. Even then, refinements are common and may need a third trip.
- We are dentists, not orthodontic specialists. We treat straightforward alignment cases. A complex skeletal case, an impacted canine or anything needing surgical planning belongs with a specialist orthodontist, and we will say so rather than take the case.
- Retention is permanent. Teeth move back. A retainer — fixed wire, night-time plate, or both — is for life. If a clinic does not mention retainers in the price, ask why.
- Crowns and veneers are not a shortcut to straight teeth. They can disguise mild crowding, but grinding down healthy teeth to avoid eighteen months of aligners is a trade most people regret. We will show you both plans and the cost of each.
