Antalya is Turkey's capital of the Turquoise Coast — a Mediterranean city that's been welcoming visitors since Roman times, and one of the country's most visited destinations today. It's a genuinely different experience from arriving in a purely medical-tourism hub: you land into a real resort city, with beaches, a historic centre, mountains behind it, and a huge, mature tourism infrastructure that's used to international visitors.
