What Is Botox & Medical Filling?
For jaw joint issues like teeth grinding and clenching (bruxism), Botox is used to relax the overworked chewing muscle — which can reduce muscle-related headaches and jaw pain.
As a complement to cosmetic dental treatment, Botox and medical filling can also be applied to facial muscles around the smile line to soften fine lines.

How much is Botox for teeth grinding in Turkey?
Masseter Botox for bruxism starts at £200 for both sides at our clinic in Antalya, compared with roughly £250–£400 in the UK. A custom night guard, made in our own laboratory, is £120.

Does Botox actually stop teeth grinding?
It reduces the force the jaw muscles can generate, which eases muscle pain, morning headaches and the damage grinding does to teeth and ceramic. It does not stop the habit itself, and it wears off after three to six months. It works best alongside a night guard.

How long does it take to work?
The effect builds over one to two weeks and peaks around week three. You will not notice much on the day of the injection, which is normal.

Will it change the shape of my face?
Used at a conservative dose for bruxism, the change is subtle — a slightly softer jaw angle over a few months as the muscle reduces. Over-treatment does change facial shape noticeably, which is why we dose low and review rather than aiming for a maximum effect first time.

Do I still need a night guard?
Yes, if you have or are having ceramic work. Botox lowers the force; the guard protects the teeth from what remains. Follow your dentist’s maintenance instructions and ask separately about applicable product support.

How long does filler last?
Six to twelve months for hyaluronic acid filler, depending on the area and how quickly your body metabolises it. Lips generally fade faster than nasolabial folds.

Can I fly the same day?
Yes. There is no downtime with either treatment. Avoid lying flat, heavy exercise and alcohol for the rest of the day after Botox.

Do you offer other aesthetic treatments?
No. We treat the area around the mouth because that is our field — jaw muscles, gummy smile, lips and nasolabial folds. Anything beyond that belongs with a cosmetic clinic and we will say so.

Masseter Botox for grinding is typically £250–£400 in the UK. The more useful comparison is against what grinding costs you if it is left alone: fractured ceramic, worn enamel and, in a bad case, a remake of work you have just paid for.

Step 1
Assessment
We examine the muscle bulk, check for tooth wear facets and ask about headaches on waking. Grinding is diagnosed from the mouth, not from a questionnaire.
Step 2
Injection
A few injections into the masseter on each side. It takes around ten minutes and stings briefly.
Step 3
Onset
The effect builds over one to two weeks rather than appearing immediately. Peak effect is around week three.
Step 4
Night guard
Botox reduces the force; a guard protects the teeth from what is left. We make guards in our own laboratory, which is why yours is ready before you fly home.

Airport transfer
We collect you from Antalya Airport in our own clinic vehicle and take you back at the end. No third-party shuttle, no extra charge.
All imaging
Panoramic X-ray and, where the plan needs it, CBCT 3D imaging. Taken in the clinic, included in the treatment price.
Medication
Anaesthetic, antibiotics and any post-operative medication you need during your stay.
Follow-up checks
Every review appointment during your visit, and remote follow-up by WhatsApp once you are home.
Hotel — arranged separately
Health tourism rules in Türkiye changed, and clinics can no longer book accommodation for patients. We refer you to partner hotels near the clinic that hold agreed rates for our patients, and you book directly with them.
Flights
Not included. We plan your appointment dates around the flights that suit you, rather than the other way round.

Our Written Guarantee
The implant itself carries a lifetime guarantee. Zirconia crowns and bridges, E-max crowns, porcelain veneers and Hollywood smile restorations carry a five-year guarantee against fracture and debonding under normal use; a fractured unit is remade at no cost for the restoration. You receive the guarantee in writing with your treatment documents. Travel and accommodation for a return visit are not included, and if you grind your teeth, wearing the night guard we provide is a condition of the guarantee.

What We Will and Will Not Do
Worth knowing before you book
- Botox for grinding is a treatment, not a cure. It reduces the force your jaw muscles can generate for three to six months. It does not address why you clench — which is usually stress, sleep or bite — and it needs repeating.
- It is not a substitute for a night guard. If you have ceramic work, the guard is what protects it, and our guarantee on crowns and veneers depends on you wearing one. Botox alongside a guard is the combination that works.
- Filler is a small part of what we do. We offer it around the mouth — lips and nasolabial folds — because that is the area we work in. We are not a cosmetic clinic, and anything beyond that we will refer.
- The result is temporary by design. Three to six months for Botox, six to twelve for hyaluronic acid filler. If a clinic offers you a permanent filler, that is a reason to walk away, not a selling point.
- Over-treated masseters change the shape of your face. Used properly the change is subtle and functional. We dose conservatively and would rather you came back for a top-up than arrived home with a face you did not ask for.
