Dt. Şerife Kalken

Şerife Kalken graduated from Akdeniz University Faculty of Dentistry in Antalya. She has seven years of clinical experience and has treated more than 3,000 patients. She founded Betadent and still runs its clinical side day to day. Her work covers implant surgery, prosthetics and cosmetic dentistry, alongside general dentistry. She is a dentist rather than a registered specialist — a distinction we state plainly, because it is one that patients travelling from the UK are entitled to know before they book. Patients consistently describe her as unhurried and straightforward about what treatment can and cannot achieve.

Dt. Müslüm Mevlüdoğlu

Müslüm Mevlüdoğlu graduated in Dentistry from Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Turkish-Kazakh University. He has five years of clinical experience and has treated more than 2,000 patients. At Betadent he works across general dentistry, restorative treatment and prosthetics, and shares the implant and smile-design caseload with Dt. Kalken. He speaks with patients directly rather than through a coordinator, which is the part international patients tell us they value most.

How we work

The Same Dentist, From First Message to Final Fit

Betadent is a two-dentist clinic. That is a deliberate limit, not a stage we have not grown out of.

In larger health-tourism clinics your case is passed between a coordinator who answers the messages, a surgeon you meet on the morning of treatment, and a prosthodontist you meet at the end. It is efficient, and it is the reason so many patients come home unable to say who actually treated them or what was placed.

Here, the dentist who reviews your X-ray is the dentist who prepares your teeth and the dentist who answers your message six months later. Between the two of us we have treated more than 5,000 patients, and every case is planned by the person who will carry it out.

Equipment, Sterilisation and Laboratory

Shining 3D intraoral scanner

Digital impressions instead of putty trays. The scan is what the laboratory works from, which removes a common source of ill-fitting crowns.

CBCT 3D imaging

Where an implant case needs it, a cone-beam CT shows bone height, width and density in three dimensions. Implant positions are planned on that scan before anything is placed — never by eye.

Panoramic X-ray on site

Taken in the clinic at your first appointment, included in the treatment price. Nothing is planned without it.

Elfin sterilisation system

Instruments are cycled through a validated sterilisation process between every patient. You are welcome to ask to see it.

Night guards made in-house

If you grind, your guard is produced here rather than ordered in — which is why it is ready before you fly home.

Dedicated prosthetics laboratory

Crowns, veneers and bridges are made by a partner laboratory we work with exclusively, on a turnaround measured in days. That is what makes a five-to-seven-day visit realistic.
