For implants the X-ray is essential, because bone volume and the position of the sinus and nerve do not show in a photo. For veneers or whitening, photos are usually enough to start. Tell us what bothers you and roughly when you could travel.

Please stay at least one full night after surgery, preferably two. Cabin pressure does not harm an implant, but flying can aggravate swelling in the first day or two. Avoid alcohol on the flight and take your prescribed painkillers before boarding.

We give you an itemised invoice for your treatment. Whether your insurer accepts it is between you and your insurer, so please check with them first which treatments your policy covers.

Placing a single implant takes 30 to 60 minutes. The implant then needs two to three months to fuse with the bone before it can carry a permanent crown, so the full course usually takes three to five months over two visits. A bone graft or sinus lift adds time.

Mode, MegaGen ST, Nucleoss, MegaGen AnyRidge and Straumann Neodent, each priced separately. The system used is named in your written plan and recorded in your implant passport.

A laminate veneer needs 0.3–0.7 mm of enamel removed from the front of the tooth. That is permanent but conservative. A crown needs 1.5–2 mm removed all round, and composite bonding often needs none. See why some teeth get filed down to pegs.

A custom night guard and masseter botox are the treatments most often used; your dentist will recommend what suits you. If you grind and have veneers or crowns, wearing the night guard we provide is a condition of the guarantee.

We recommend a dental check-up every six months. At each check-up your dentist decides whether you need a scale and polish.

From the age of one. Early check-ups protect the milk teeth, and losing milk teeth too early can cause problems for the permanent teeth later.

The implant itself carries a lifetime guarantee. Zirconia crowns and bridges, E-max crowns, porcelain veneers and Hollywood Smile restorations are guaranteed for five years against fracture and debonding under normal use. You receive it in writing. For pain, swelling or fever, see a local dentist the same day and message us. If a crown comes loose, keep it, photograph it and send it to us. We follow up on WhatsApp and send your records to any dentist who treats you.
